It has been an unparalleled honor to serve on the Cypress School District Board of Trustees. As a former bilingual educator, long time PTA leader, and school board member, I have spent much of my adult life in the service of students. 

I am exceedingly proud of our district’s accomplishments. We continue to be a destination district with passionate teachers and staff, flourishing music and STEM programs, and high achieving students. In my regular visits, I see firsthand our beautiful facilities and the extraordinary work our entire district family does in support of children. I am committed to continue being a careful steward of public funds while ensuring Cypress remains a great place to work and learn. 

In 2023, I was recognized as Orange County Board Member of the Year for my work on behalf of students not only in Cypress, but in the county and state. I hold a Masters in Governance Certificate from the California School Boards Association. 

I have lived in our wonderful community for nearly 30 years and have two children who have benefited greatly from our remarkable schools.

I care deeply about Cypress schools and pledge to keep working hard so our students continue to thrive.
